At 87 years old, Valerie Jacqueline Tobitt (known as Jackie), of San Juan Bautista, expired in Royal Oaks, happy and surrounded by loving care at the home of those she chose to be with in her final days.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Lee Tobitt. They were born and raised on their ranch in San Juan Canyon. She was a lifetime rancher and well known to her many beloved friends and neighbors. Jackie attended local schools and with her sister was a bookkeeper in her younger years for the 101 livestock Auction at the San Juan Rocks. Jackie enjoyed the local rodeos and also participated in the County Fairs. She will be missed and always remembered by young and old.
Private cremation with private inurnment will take place through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.
