Verna G. Fazzio May 25, 1940 – March 21, 2015

 Verna passed away peacefully, on March 21st , 2015, at the age of 74. Verna was born in Arizona to Vern and Carmel Sorensen and raised in San Jose.
 She attended Willow Glen High School, where she met her husband, Sam Fazzio. They recently celebrated 55 years of marriage on January 31, 2014.
 Verna and Sam moved permanently to the Ridgemark Golf Course community in Hollister, CA in 1997.  Together, they raised four children, Ledonna Scianna (Mark), Sam Fazzio (deceased 1980), Becky Rogers (Mark), and Charlie Fazzio.
 Verna is grandmother to Sam Scianna, Danny Scianna (deceased 2003), Cassie Rogers, and Kylie Rogers. She is also survived by her brother, Don Sorensen (Glenda) from Dallas, TX.
 Verna will be remembered by all of her extended family, brothers and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.
 Verna enjoyed her retirement while pursuing her passions for golf, being a member of the Ridgemark Womens’ Golf group, selling tickets at the A-Team fundraising events, and doll making.
 She will be missed by the many close friends she made at Ridgemark.
