Born February 23, 1922, passed to his eternal life on November 27, 2011. Born in Blue Island, IL to Ralph and Assunta Chellino, who had emigrated from Italy at the turn of the century. He was the eldest of four children, Frank, Edward, and Barbara, who have preceded him in death.
Bill married his beloved wife, Virginia (LaPine), moved to San Jose, CA in 1957. Virginia, wife of 65 years, just passed last December. Bill was the loving father of Ralph Chellino, wife Christine, Barbara Chellino-de’Ojeda, and Patty Chellino-Anderson.
Bill’s family grew to include his legacy of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Elliott Anderson, wife Melissa and sons Matthew and Nathaniel, Teressa (Chellino) Francis, husband Michael and their children Scotty and Ella, Damien de’Ojeda and his sister Danielle, Michael Chellino and his wife Joanna.
Rosary services will be held at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, December 4th, 2011, at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel at 710 Willow St, San Jose.
The celebration of his life will continue at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 5th, at St. John Vianney Church, 4600 Hyland Ave, San Jose.
