Dear Editor:
First, thank you for having an article online about my grandfather Howard Harris.
It’s a bit strange sometimes for me to look at his life and think of him as any more than my grandpa.
I’m the oldest son of Glenn Harris, and I’m in the U.S. Navy stationed in Japan. I had received several messages to call home, but I wasn’t able to until it was Wednesday (Dec. 4) morning back in the states.
There is probably a lot that I’d like to say about him and who he was to me, but then he was a lot to a lot of people.
To just talk about who he was to me seems like it would selfish. Thank you for the article on him.
