 Albert Robert Morejohn (birth name Alberto Roberto Morejón) was born in Havana, Cuba on November 22, 1924. He immigrated with his two brothers and parents, Gonzalo Victor and Maria Theresa Morejohn in 1929, settling in New York City.
 He attended schools in Queens, graduated from William Cullen Bryant High School, and participated in track and field and the photography club.
 Upon graduation he enlisted in the Marine Corps, and became a combat photographer in the Pacific Campaign during WW II.
 When the war ended, he met his future wife, Doris Ann Williams, at the University of Florida. They married in 1948, moved to California and he graduated from UCLA.
 Albert worked as a petroleum geologist for Texaco, Inc. in Bakersfield, New Orleans and Los Angeles, and retired after 34 years with the company. Throughout his life he enjoyed photography as a hobby, frequenting antique and thrift stores and collecting artwork.
 He is survived by his children, Louis Morejohn (Kailua-Kona), Linda Morejohn (San Jose), Dale Morejón (Gilroy), Robert Morejohn (Chico), Diana Martina (Papillion, NE) and Elaine Littlejohn (Hollister), nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
