Annie Sue Bradford died on her birthday, December 6th at the age of 88. She was born in Shiloh, TN and lived there until joining the Women’s Army Corp during WWII. She married Alexander Bradford after the war and moved with him to Shoshone, CA near Death Valley. They moved to Hollister when they decided to start a family, buying a small farm in the San Juan Valley where they grew walnuts. Annie Sue, “Boots” to her friends, was a teacher’s aide for many years at San Juan School. She was active in the Hollister United Methodist Church and Red Hat Society. She flew across the country twice with her husband in their airplane, visiting family in Tennessee. She enjoyed hiking and camping in the Sierra Nevada Mtns. Annie Sue was predeceased by her husband, Alexander and her son, Paul Max Bradford. She is mourned by her daughter, Annie Laura Bradford, her son, Lowell Alan Bradford and her son in law, Bruce Riehl. The delight of her life was her grandchildren, Sonrisa Stepath and Aaron Bradford and one great grandchild, Cecilia Ane Acob. Her family honors her love of life and her courage.

Private cremation will be followed by private family inurnment.
