Domingos (Mike) Ferriera passed away at Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Center at the age of 88. A native of Tranquility, CA, he lived in Hollister since 1955.
He spent several years employed as a dairyman. His favorite hobby was gardening. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Hollister Grange, and the Monterey Pomona Grange.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo, two brothers and two sisters.
Survived by his children, Nancy Viverito (Mike), Patrick Ferriera (Elaine), and Susan Steiner (Doug), grandchildren, Gina Gutierrez (Jesse), Dana and Kayla Ferriera, Ashley Cook (Matt) and Jeremiah Steiner. He was blessed with four great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012, at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister at 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2012, from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 P.M.
