Ebbie Pinkernell passed away at Stanford Medical Center on December 18th at the age of 65 years. Ebbie was born in Cleveland, Ohio, graduated from East Tech High School and received her nursing education at Cleveland Community College. Ebbie has been a resident of San Benito County for the last 30 years, 20 years working as a private duty nurse. She was an active member of Sacred Heart/St. Benedict Catholic Church Communities and the Y.L.I.
“Besides her genuine love for people, being everybody’s friend, her church was a great part of her life”, said her close friend Sarah Herbert. Ebbie was the spouse of the late Alan Douglas Pinkernell. She is survived by sisters Celestine Lloyd and Daisy Dickerson and brother Henry Williams’ all of Cleveland, Ohio and many other members of her extended family.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass of The Resurrection on Friday, December 28th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Church, 1200 Fairview Rd., Hollister. Ebbie’s cremains will be placed with her family in the family plot in Cleveland ,Ohio. Memorials are preferred in her memory to the Homeless Shelter of San Benito County, c/o Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home.
