Former Hollister resident Eileen Laurel Dugan died at Aegis Living of Aptos on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, after a long fight with Alzheimer’s. She was born December 11, 1920 in Denver, CO where she attended schools until she married Harold Oliver Dugan. They settled in CA and took jobs with a little “start-up company” called Hewlett –Packard where they worked until retirement to Hollister, CA.

Eileen is survived by her sons and their wives, Terry and Pat Dugan of Afton, MN, Mike and Susie Dugan of Port Orchard, WA, Jeff and Pam Dugan of Kihei, HI, and by her daughter and husband, Jamie and Doug Inman of Hollister; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dugan.

Eileen loved to travel, she was an avid gardener and a voracious reader. She loved classical music, jazz, theater, and supported the San Francisco Symphony. Eileen never gave up on her beloved 49ers.

Services will be held October 27, 2009, 2:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church, 2066 San Benito St., Hollister, CA. with a reception following.
