Fumi A. Inada was born in Hanford, CA and passed away suddenly at her home in Gilroy, CA on May 21, 2011, at the age of 85.

Preceded in death by her husband Charles Inada. Beloved mother of Frances (Scott) Nishihara. Loving grandmother of Denis Nishihara and Melysa (Chris) Boqua. Dearest great-grandmother of Alexis Nishihara. Dear sister of Goro (Nobi) Asaki, Yo Seltzer, Aiko Imagawa, Koko Wittenburg, Sam Asaki, Jack (Alma) Asaki, Steve (Janice) Asaki and the late Tom Asaki and May Ishimoto. Dear sister-in-law Lily (George) Iseri and the late Mary Yoshikawa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Fumi worked for over 40 years at J. C. Penney’s in Gilroy as Bookkeeper. She was a “Die Hard” San Francisco Giants fan for over 50 years. She enjoyed bowling and meeting with the “Lunch Bunch” at the Bowl.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at the Gilroy Presbyterian Church, 6000 Miller Avenue, Gilroy, CA. Inurnment will be private at a later date at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy, CA. In lieu of flowers donations to the Gilroy Presbyterian Church or your favorite charity would be preferred.
