Ilene passed away peacefully on March 4, 2011. Born November 4, 1918, in Lamar Missouri, Ilene, together with her family, moved to California in 1936.

was married to Walter Wiebe, and together they owned and operated the Wiebe Motel, Wiebe Industries, and numerous other businesses, until Walter’s death in 1987.

“Mousie”, as she was known to family and friends, will always be remembered for her wicked sense of humor and sensational pies and cakes.

“Mousie” was a member of the Women’s golf club at Ridgemark. Together with her brothers, there were always many humorous stories and reminisces repeated around her kitchen table during the cocktail hour.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, and her sister “Rosie” Porter.

She is survived by brothers M.C. “Brick” Hagins and Donald Hagins. Sisters in Law Carol Ann Hagins and Marian Hagins all of Hollister. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ilene was the daughter of Clovis and Audrey Hagins.

Donations are preferred to Mabie’s Skilled Nursing Facility, Pet Friends, or charity of choice.
