Inez Moran died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003 in East Wenatchee, Wash. She was 91.

Mrs. Moran was born in Dry Prong, La. and grew up in Pollock, La. where she became a beautician, a job she kept until moving to Pollock Pines, Calif. in 1950. She and her husband lived there until she moved to East Wenatchee in 1981, two years after his death.

She enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, crossword puzzles, harvesting walnuts and being with her grandchildren, friends and pets.

She is survived by her daughters, Anna Finstad and her husband, Blake, of San Juan Bautista and Lin Stimus of East Wenatchee, Wash.; and three granchildren, including Jason and Sarah Finstad of San Juan Bautista.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Pete, Herman and Reg Thompson, and her sisters, Lorene George and Lessye Willett.

Interment and graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. at Westwood Hills Cemetery in Placerville. Arrangements are under the direction of Telford’s Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee, Wash.
