James R. Clark died March 14 at Stanford Medical Center. He was
born in San Francisco and was 60 years old.
James R. Clark died March 14 at Stanford Medical Center. He was born in San Francisco and was 60 years old.

He was a general contractor and served in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of The Marine Corps League in San Jose and the VFW Post in San Juan Bautista. He was a former resident of San Juan Bautista and was living in Morgan Hill. He lived in San Juan Bautista from 1990 to 1996 and previously owned and operated The Rome Inn which is now The Singletree Inn.

He is survived by his daughters, Laura Cook and her husband David of Morgan Hill, and Leslie Clark of Sacramento; his brothers and sisters, Matthew Clark of El Granada, Mark Clark of Redwood City, Catherine Trotter of Santa Rosa and Carolyn Andrade of Sebastopol; and his grandson, Nicholas Clark-Cook of Morgan Hill.

Graveside services with military rites will be on Saturday, March 19 at 10am at San Juan District Cemetery. San Juan Bautista VFW Post will conduct the services.

Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
