A Vigil Service was held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 5:30 P.M with Visitation at 4:30 P.M at St. Catherine’s Parish, 17400 Peak Avenue, Morgan Hill. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:00 A.M at the above church. Private Entombment.
Janet Licia Borello, 63, of Morgan Hill passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and children on November 19, 2016 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on July 25, 1953 in San Jose California, to Cosmo and Ernesta Perrotta and sister to Mathilda Boal and Cosmo Perrotta. Devoted wife of 43 years to Robert S. Borello. Caring mother to Robert C. and wife Erica, Nicolas and wife Kimberly, Gino and wife Jana, Jenna and husband Tyler Larick. Loving grammy to 9 grandchildren: Joseph, Nathan, Leah, Madilyn, Giuliana, Alexandra, Mason, Buster, Daniella, and number 10 due January. She was a beloved daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, auntie, cousin, and friend to many. She graduated from Notre Dame San Jose, class of 1971. She worked for Bank of America for 25 years. She will be remembered for her love of espresso, honest and loving conversations, pride in her Italian heritage, her love of cooking, love of movies with friends and family, and pure optimistic outlook on life. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren and was truly the matriarch of her family. She will be missed dearly and forever remembered in the hearts of many.
