Jesse J. “Alo” Hutchings Jr. passed away at his home on Dec. 28, 2007. He was 75 years old. Mr. Hutchings is survived by his wife Juanita of Gilroy, his children Gail Isaac of Madera, Leslie (Dave) Koppel of Gilroy, Daryl Hutchings of San Jose and Kevin (Paula) Hutchings of San Jose, grandfather of 13, great-grandfather of 3. He is also survived by a brother and many nieces and nephews. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. After college he began his career as a contractor in the San Jose area, moved to Gilroy in 1989, and has been a Gilroy resident ever since, retiring in 2005. As a member of the New Hope Community Church, in Gilroy, he worked on many construction projects as well as at the Gilroy Presbyterian Church. He had many friends and family that loved and respected him, he will be dearly missed.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 3, 2008, 11:00 A.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose.
