John A. Hamby, Jr. October 28, 1929 – February 27, 2016

John A. Hamby (“Buster”), resident of Hollister, CA passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the age of 86. 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra who died August 8, 2015. 
 John was born October 28, 1929, in Watsonville, CA. 
 He served in the U.S. Army and worked 33 years for Pacific Telephone and retired as a Chief Engineer.  
 John was a member of the Hollister Boosters club, Elks Club and Ridgemark Golf Club. John loved the game of golf. He and his wife, Sandra also enjoyed traveling in their RV with their motorhome club and spending time with their family.
 John is survived by his children, daughter, Teri Henson and fiancé ,Robert Graham; daughter, Lori Taggert and husband, Kenny; son, Jeff Hamby and wife, Tina; step-son, Jack Rose and girlfriend, Michelle Carnine; step-son, Brad Rose and wife, Shelia along with thee grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
