John Bellone October 6, 1931 – January 7, 2015

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 3:00 P.M., at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, CA 93901. Burial with Military Honors will be held at a later date at Castroville District Cemetery, Moss Landing, CA 95039.  John Bellone, 83, of Salinas passed away after a short illness on January 7, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born in San Francisco and moved with his parents and brother to Castroville, CA when he was a young child where he lived most of his life.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Mary Bellone, his brother, Mike Bellone Jr., and son-in-law, Jim Murphy.
 He is survived by his wife, Christine Gomes Bellone, son, Dan (Lisa) Bellone; daughter, Kellie Bellone Murphy; step-daughter, Tiara Boyd, step-son, Sean Martin; and grandson, Jonathan Max Bellone.
