Jose Gabriel De La Torre December 20, 1940 – December 31, 2015

 Jose Gabriel De La Torre was born in San De Los Lagos, Jalisco Mexico on December 20th 1940. He came to San Jose in 1976 and opened the first Super Taqueria, with his brother and cousin. That has now grown into 11 restaurants.
 In July 2013, Gabriel was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer which he battled for over two long years.
 Embraced in the hands of the Lord, Gabriel passed away on December 31st, 2015, in his home in San Martin, CA. His final days were spent surrounded by his family. 
 He leaves behind his wife, Maria, children, Luis, Blanca, Oscar, Sandra, Evelyn, Gabriela, Yessenia and nine grandchildren.
