Jose Luis Ramirez June 21, 1933 – March 23, 2014

 A Rosary will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home on March 27th at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on March 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church with Entombment to follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park in Gilroy.

 Jose Luis Ramirez left to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, Mexico on June 21, 1933.
 Jose took pride in working as an agricultural farmer in the Gilroy area for 64 years. His life was defined by his passion for farming and love for his family. He leaves a legacy of hard work, generosity and compassion.
 Jose is survived by his loving dog and best friend “Patches”, his daughters; Rachel Muñoz, Mary Ann Ramirez, Elizabeth Ramirez, son Joey Ramirez, granddaughter Victoria Marie Ramirez, grandsons, Jose Muñoz, Matt and Mark Ramirez Norris, great-granddaughter, Aubrey Mia Ramirez.
 He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Isabel Amaro Ramirez on December 19, 2011.
