Memorial Services will follow at a future date in the San Diego area. She will be laid to rest at El Camino Memorial Park near her beautiful angel Madison.
Kelly Lynn Limbaugh passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Kelly was born November 25, 1962 in Augsberg, Germany. The daughter of Lt. Colonel George Edward Limbaugh and Marjorie Lee Sanders, she spent her childhood as a globetrotting “Army brat” eventually settling in the San Diego area where she married and had two children.
Her greatest joy was being mother to her son, Grant Holcombe, age 26 and her greatest sorrow was the death of her daughter, Madison in 1989 at nine months of age.
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner since 2002, Kelly moved to the Bay Area in 2007 to continue her career as a Respiratory Therapist. Working at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, Kaiser San Jose and finally St. Louise Regional Hospital. The scope and depth of her compassion, knowledge and commitment to excellence may never be fully known except by the countless patients and families whose lives she touched in small,quiet ways everyday.
Kelly was an incredibly creative, loving, giving woman who will be deeply missed by her many friends, co-workers and family members.
She is survived by her son, Grant Holcombe, her mother, Marjorie, step-mother, Taffy Limbaugh, sisters, Lorie and Shannyn, brother Scott, former husband Scott Holcombe and her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
