Mae Ellen Arnold passed away peacefully June 10, 2017. She was born May 11, 1928 in Hollister, and was returned there for burial in the IOOF Cemetery on June 22, 2017.
Mae was proud of her 40 year career with Western Appliance in San Jose and of her Hollister roots.
She enjoyed her longtime friends and classmates and attended class reunions and the San Benito County Rodeo regularly.
In her retirement years Mae followed the SF Giants and 49ers and enjoyed bowling, golf, bingo and spending time with family.
She is survived by her sister Carol, niece Peggy (Ron), nephew Jeff, great niece Leah, great nephew Kevin (Jillian) and great great nieces Brynn and Hayden as well as numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the Community FoodBank in Hollister, a hospice organization, or other charity of your choice. Arrangements were handled by Black-Cooper-Sander Funeral Home, Hollister.
