Marcelina Diaz died Nov. 15 in Hollister at the age of 71.
She was born in Kern City, Texas and moved to Hollister as a
young girl. She married her husband, Juan, in 1954 in Reno,
Nev.

She is survived by her husband Juan Jose Diaz of Hollister; her children and their spouses, Maria Diaz, Socorro and Joseph Angulo, Carmen and John Aguirre, John and Sylvia Diaz, Martha and Guillermo Pasillas, Sally Diaz and David, and Sierra Diaz all of Hollister, her sisters, Natividad Vargas of Hollister, Emilia Duran of Hollister, Maria Trevino of Pomona and Guadalupe Lopez of Anaheim. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Friends can pay their respects on Thursday, Nov. 18, from noon until 5pm at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday evening at 7pm at Iglesia de Dios on Nash Road in Hollister.
On Friday morning friends can gather at the funeral home at 9:30am and then proceed to the IOOF Cemetery for interment and graveside services.
