Maria Navarro passed away in Hollister at the age of 83. She was born in Mexico and came to Hollister in 1966. She worked in the local cannery, was a member of The Teamsters Union and Sacred Heart Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Navarro who died in 1996 and is survived by her children, Josefina Navarro of Mexico, Soledad Navarro of Hollister, Ofelia Barrios of Hollister, Francisco Navarro Jr of Hollister, Maria Orozco of Hollister, Isaias Navarro of Hollister, Abel Navarro of Sacramento, Elisa Navarro of San Jose and Estella Roa of San Jose. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Her Rosary will be on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Her Mass will be on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church. Friends can gather at the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. for a procession to the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
