The man found guilty in a 2009 home invasion near San Juan Bautista has received a sentence of 23 years in prison.

With a $10,000 reward on the line and Bay Area sports stars stepping in to help, the Morgan Hill community continues to hope for a safe return of Sierra LaMar, 15, who has been missing since March 16.

Cheryl Busch, charged with shooting and killing her 19-month-old daughter on the family’s Shore Road property in November 2008, has pleaded guilty to the crime.
