BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) broke into the Hollister Family Bowl and stole tools that can only be used on bowling equipment by prying the back door open sometime between 9:45 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday. Hollister police have taken prints off the door and believe it may have been an inside job.

Police Blotter 5/19
CAR/BICYCLIST ACCIDENT: A juvenile riding his bike westbound on Park Street around 3 p.m. Tuesday, who Hollister police believe was being chased by students of Rancho San Justo Middle School, struck the right side of a 1998 Chevy Suburban on San Benito Street and suffered minor cuts, scrapes and bruises. Police are not sure who was chasing the juvenile but the incident is being investigated.

ILLEGAL WEAPON POSSESSION: Greg Fred Larios Jr., 20, of 641 Riviera Drive in Hollister was arrested by San Benito County Sheriff's deputies on the corner of Line Street and Nash Road for illegal possession of a knife, a felony, and underage drinking, a misdemeanor, at 10:45 p.m. Friday.
