STOLEN VEHICLE: A 1966 black Chevrolet Chevelle was stolen from in front of Hollister resident Gary Geraci's residence at 748 Fifth Street sometime between noon on Thursday and 1 p.m. Friday. The Hollister police have no suspects and no witnesses to the theft.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Martin Manzo Cendejas, 33, who lives on the 1700 block of Jacaranda Circle in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Airline Highway at Tres Pinos at 7:50 p.m. Monday.

DRIVE-BY SHOOTING: Hollister police responded to a report of a drive-by shooting at Dacia Perez's home at 950 Nash Road around 2 a.m. Monday. Three shots were fired from a .38 Special or a .357 Magnum, which went through her front door and lodged in the walls of her home. Neither Perez or her two children, who were sleeping at the time of the incident, were injured. The incident is presumed not to be gang-related and is still under investigation.
