DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:

Luis Enrique Garcia, 29, of 7700 Fairview Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in front of his home at 1:20am on Saturday, police said.

Steven Allen Holt, 52, who lives in the 300 block of College St. in Hollister, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of .13, a misdemeanor, on Highway 25, south of Highway 156, at 12:50am on Sunday, police said.

Shirley Ann Dias, 45, of 3033 San Felipe Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, battery on a police officer and threatening a police officer, felonies, after she crashed into a car on Woodside and Apricot Lane, fled the scene, and was later arrested at 6:22pm in the 300 block of Tres Pinos Road, police said. While being apprehended, police said Dias grabbed the officer and told her she was going to kill her.

Ruben Duarte Meza, Jr., 21, of Chualar, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, misdemeanors, on Highway 101 at San Juan Road at 9:25pm on Sunday, police said.

Jesse Joshua Neuer, 28, of Hayward, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence, under the influence of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license, all misdemeanors, on Highway 101 at Highway 156 at 11:59pm on Sunday, police said.

DRUG POSSESSION:

Cesar Luis Lopez, 42, of 1301 Buena Vista Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, at Miller and Buena Vista roads at 12:21pm on Sunday, police said.

Jesse Tapia Serna, 41, of 200 Del Mar Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for possession of methamphetamine, a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, misdemeanors, on Highway 156 between Rocks and Monterey roads at 1:42pm on Monday, police said.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Theodore Woodside, 55, of 1550 Valley View Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 1500 block of Valley View Road at 9:40am on Saturday for domestic violence, a felony, after he allegedly bit a female he has a relationship with, causing a cut to her finger, police said.

Kelly Frances Bellagamba, 42, of 845 Central St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for domestic violence, a felony, after she bit a man she has a relationship with, causing a bruise to his hand, in the 800 block of Powell Street at 2:53pm on Friday, police said.

Ronnie Duncan, 40, of Mountain View, was arrested by Hollister police in the 500 block of Hillock Road at 1am on Monday for domestic violence, threats and false imprisonment, all felonies, after he pulled a female’s hair, slapped her head, threatened to kill her and wouldn’t let her leave the house, police said.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC:

Joel Sendejas, 27, of 5192 Fairview Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, in the 800 block of East Street at 9:16pm on Saturday, police said.

Nicholas Mendez, 27, of 940 Memorial Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, on the corner of North Sally Street and Santa Ana Road at 9pm on Monday, police said.

Timothy Jacob Valencia, 19, of 60 Los Altos Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 1700 block of Airline Highway at 7:33pm on Monday for shoplifting, drunk in public, giving false identification to police and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, and for a felony warrant for unlawful sex with someone more than three years younger than him, police said. After Valencia was taken into custody and placed in the back of the police car he managed to slip the handcuffs from behind his back, and escaped when officers took him out of the car to reposition the cuffs, police said. He was re-apprehended at Rite Aid after a brief chase, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
