Rene Haro passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 22nd at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his wife Socorro and sons John, spouse Betty of Casa Grande, AZ; Mark of Hollister; Art, spouse Susana of McAllen, TX; and daughter Annabel of Chico. Also surviving are his grandchildren Zachary, Mathew, Nicolas and Alexa Haro, Jonah and Nathan Platt; his brothers Robert Haro, spouse Mary Ellen of Murietta, CA; Ranulfo Haro, spouse Pat of Vancouver, WA; his sister Elvia Rose, spouse Robert of Hollister, and numerous other family members. He was predeceased by his parents Angel and Maria Haro and brother Ruben Haro. At his request no services will be held. For those who wish to do so, donations in Rene’s memory may be made to the Hollister Food Bank c/o Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home 870 San Benito St., Hollister.
