Ruby Lawrence Hoy of Lake of the Woods in Orange County, Va. passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Greenfields of Fredericksburg, Va.
Mrs. Hoy was born January 12, 1939 in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Hollister, California.
Survivors include her husband, John Hoy; children Diane Mitchell (Bob) and John Hoy (Harley Tomey); five grandchildren Jason Mitchell, Amy McDonald (Dan), Todd Mitchell, Kylie Hoy, Jeremiah Hoy; four great-grandchildren Dexter, Vivien, Owen and Nathan; brother Melvin Lawrence; sister Wanda Bullock (George); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.W. and Anna Nell Lawrence; and sister Betty Heinrichs.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am, Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, Va.
