Rudy Dozal Sr. died Friday at Stanford Medical Center. He was
born in Brawley, Calif. and was 65 years old.

Rudy Dozal Sr. died Friday at Stanford Medical Center. He was born in Brawley, Calif. and was 65 years old.

He had lived in Hollister for about 40 years and worked as a tour specialist taking people on bus tours for many years.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Sandra and Tony Pulido of Hollister, LeRoy and Karen Dozal of Hollister and Tuesday and Joe Leon of Hollister; his brothers and sister, Ruben Dozal of Hollister, Ralph Dozal of Salinas and Norma Dominguez of Anaheim.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Sr. and Mary Dozal, his son, Rudy Dozal Jr., and his brother and sister, David Dozal Sr. and Elizabeth Dozal.

Friends can pay their respects Tuesday from noon until 9 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. A Rosary will be at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Rev. Rudy Ruiz of Sacred Heart Church will officiate.

Interment and graveside services will follow the funeral at Calvary Cemetery.
