Visitation will be Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at 10:00 A.M., at St. Mary Parish followed by burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Donations to your favorite charity would be preferred.  Tony Marfia, age 93, passed away peacefully in Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City after a short illness.
 Tony was a life-long resident of Morgan Hill. Along with ranching, he spent his occupational life working at Filice & Perrelli Cannery.
 He can be remembered having breakfast or lunch with his many friends and family at local restaurants.  
 He was a life-long lover of animals as evidenced by his military training dogs and his personal cattle and horse ranch.
 Tony enjoyed dropping off his garden and orchard produce on loved ones door steps. He loved telling his nieces, nephews and friends a multitude of stories about his days in the military as an MP, dog trainer and firefighter during WWII.
 He is survived by his brother, Ciro Marfia of San Martin, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
 He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Mary Marfia, his brother, John Marfia and sisters, Lena Makela and Virginia Losada.
