Walter Kevin Green February 6, 1950 – November 21, 2012

Visitation was held Wednesday, November 28th, 2012, from 12 noon until 8:30 P.M., with the Rosary offered at 7:00 P.M,. at the Grunnagle Funeral Home 870 San Benito St., Hollister. A Mass of The Resurrection was offered Thursday, November 29th, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Gilroy, CA at 10:00 A.M. Private inurnment will be held.
 Walter Kevin Green passed away peacefully at his home on November 21, 2012. He was born on February 6, 1950 in Oakland, CA, and grew up in San Francisco where he fell in love with his wife Diane.
 They married on November 9, 1974. They moved to Morgan Hill, CA where they had two beautiful girls, Lori and Diana. This was Walt’s greatest accomplishment.
 Walter was a very generous man always giving more than he received. You can say Walter was an accomplished businessman with his many awards from Standard Oil, but he was so much more! Walter was a great soul, a solid husband, a good dad and grandfather.
 He leaves behind his wife Diane, daughters Lori and Diana; grandchildren Andrew, Dylan, Bradley, Hailey and Layla, as well as his best friend and brother Patrick; his siblings Mary and Michael; and nieces and nephews. “Walter was the kind of person anyone would like to know. He was a good man.” said his brother.
 Walter will always be remembered and missed by many, knowing he has done so much for others. He will not be forgotten.
Walter was predeceased by his mother Billie Marie Green; his aunt Louisette Murdoch, his father Patrick R. Green Sr., mother-in-law Joan, father-in-law Robert, sister-in-laws Joyce and Kathy, and nephew Luke.
