A memorial celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at Jardines Restaurant, San Juan Bautista, in the Theatre building on March 1, 2014, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
 Nancy N. Hanna passed away peacefully on January 3, 2014, with family by her side. She was 90 years old.
 Nancy was born on August 23, 1923 in Butte, MT. Her family then moved to Gilroy where she graduated from Gilroy High School, Class of 1940.
 Nancy married William T. Corsette in Long Beach and had two children.
 After the passing of her young husband, Nancy finished her teaching degree with a Bachelor of Arts and Teaching Credential with honors from Long Beach State, and began teaching elementary school.
 Nancy was introduced to Walter J. Hanna (who had three children) by her friends, Warren and Barbara Byers. Their marriage moved her back to Gilroy where she raised her family. In 1994, Nancy and Walt moved to Aptos, living out their retirement days together.
 Nancy was an accomplished artist. The use of color, composition and subject matter in her works reflect her bright outlook on lif! e and are wonderful expressions of her beautiful soul.
 Nancy is survived by an adoring family and much appreciated friends. The family expresses its deep gratitude for those who supported, and gave loving care to Nancy through her journey in passing.
