Born on May 12, 1925, and raised in Rossland, British Columbia by the late Michael and Muriel Butorac. Ormi took her senior matriculation course at Trail-Tadanac high school and then attended the California College of Podiatry in San Francisco. She was an honor student through her course in podiatry at college. There she met and then married her beloved husband, the late John F. Gebhardt. They practiced medicine and owned their podiatry clinic in Palo Alto for over 50 years.
Ormi was also a devoted traveler, gardener, and home-maker for her much loved children, John Gebhardt III, Peg G. Keesling (Pete), Michael Gebhardt, and Bob Gebhardt, and her 5 grandchildren, Sarah Keesling, Mary Keesling, John Keesling, Connor Gebhardt, and Reed Gebhardt.
She is also survived by her much loved brother, Michael Butorac (Bonnie), sister Anne Bruce, sister-in-law Patricia Rathburn, brother-in-law Thomas Gebhardt (Helen), and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
